Dyffryn is a very popular and successful comprehensive school.  Pupils enjoy coming to school and they all make good progress here.  The school has a purposeful and supportive ethos with high expectations for all pupils.

Performance in external examinations is consistently well above national averages and our pupils also have an excellent record of achievements in Sport and in the Arts.

The school is situated on two sites:  one catering for 12 – 13 year olds and the other for 14 – 16 year olds.  The Lower School allows children to transfer happily from their primary schools in a safe and secure environment.  Here all children are given the opportunity to experience the full range of subjects on offer.  When children reach the UpperSchool, there is more opportunity for choice and specialisation within a broad curriculum.
